Finally.
Talk about the least surprising development.

I've been saying this for years, but I do not believe Trae is a true franchise type alpha player. He's got a lot of skills, but he's also a chucker and alpha grade pilon on defense. The team is lacking high end talent as well.

No. We not in same timeline of our development curve...

Nurse gets rest of season before any real pressure on him. But it a valid conversation point.

This would normally a time where you could see a free fall for a team, but from what Woj is saying they are doing the hunt now for a head coach rather than wait out the offseason. A guy like Quin Snyder could help the Hawks a lot.

Maybe. Or maybe they just overperformed that year that they switched coaches to McMillan and went on that second half run that took them to the Conference Finals. That really seems to be the outlier here. It seems like they should be better, but maybe Trae is just a hard guy to build around.

Not sure hiring a guy that consistently underachieved and whose team had terrible chemistry is a good idea.
