Potential 5 game winning streak and 4 game series sweep in Cleveland tomorrow to get back to .500

Can the Toronto Raptors do it??????

Lock down on defense. Need the Scottie and OG duo to pick it up and show the league why we're the team to beat in the East.

Hopefully Fred’s back. I know that is not a popular thing to say around here but I don’t think Raps can win this without him.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Big test on a back to back. They need to play better than the last two games. Cavs have looked quite bad the past couple of games and should be motivated to get a win against a team that has dominated them all year.

Let's hope Fred is back.

We need poll options.

Scottland?
Siakland?
Vanvleetland?
Poetland?
Bo Cruzland?

Seems like everybody owning a piece of the town.

Imagine facing Cleveland in the first round! They have no answer for us this season id be pretty damn optimistic.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan

Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Mitchell was kind of hoping OG would be in the western conference by this game.

I’d like that matchup too, but never forget what the Wizards did to us after we swept them in the regular season.

This game will be a real test. We see how much of an impact Poeltl can have against a legit playoff team.

I'm not as concerned about the defensive end, but it could be another ugly game tomorrow especially if FVV is still out. This is a game where we need him and/or OG+GTJ to hit at least 3-4 threes while Siakam and Scottie (or whoever Okoro ends up defending) go to work inside. Cleveland has lost 3 straight after an 8-game winning streak and 4 of their 5 next games after tomorrow are against the Celtics and Heat, so they're more than likely going to come out with a high level of focus and be determined to get a win. It doesn't help that they're coming off a game where they were completely dominated and allowed Atlanta to shoot nearly 60% from the field too.

First page real estate (does anyone really care? Hasn't this joke gone on long enough?)

Completely OT, I was watching the Edmonton Oilers choke another game and someone said they had the best powerplay percentage by any team in the league - ever. I didn't believe it, but sure enough... damn.

Leafs are fourth best this season.

Also OT, I was just wondering who was the 3 pt king this season. Shocked at the answer.

Sure glad the Lakers wanted Russ instead. LOL.

At least Fred made the list.

Literally last year we were 3-1 RS vs PHI and they were up 3-0 on us lol. But I still put some stock in season matchups

I don't think its a guarantee or anything, but still, if I had to pick a top seed to play I'd still pick CLE. Young, lack experience in playoffs, and lack a wing stopper.

Certainly better option than BOS, MIL, or PHI lol. Sadly its not realistic

First genuine test of our new squad.

Hope we don't drop the ball. I'll start believing if we get this W.

Our defense has been great, offense abysmal. Not sure what makes people think fvv is gonna somehow gonna be the difference between whether or not og and trent make wide open 3s but really that's what it comes down to eith this offense. The guys who are supposed to make shots are missing them. Still think wieskamp should get a shot but whatev3r nurse gonna nurse.

The last time we faxed cavs, dudes were draining all their 3s, so we'll see. If we play thecsame level of defense and those shots are falling should be a good game.
mdenny wrote:In anycase....Masai is probably gonna make Fred the first active player/head coach in franchise history now that Nurse is out of the way. That's been the plan all along.
