Olivier-Maxence Prosper - Marquette

Post#1 » by Kalela » Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:32 pm

This guy needs his own thread. I see an NBA player. I can't find him on any mock drafts for some reason but he has size, athleticism, and defense that will translate to the NBA. Good 3& D potential. Very similar to O.G. Anunoby but obviously not as good at the moment.

I remember seeing him at U19s thinking he could easily be an NBA rotation player. Hustles and ideal role player for any team.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

He's worth a flyer in the 20-40 range on physical tools alone...but I just don't think he's gonna pan out personally.

He may never become a star player but I think he will be a decent role player in the NBA. He is an elite defender. He is able to stay with those quick guards and small forwards and he is also big enough to defend bigger players. His ceiling is probably Jerami Grant.

He’s way less of a twig than Jerami Grant, though… like right now.

I’d be elated if O-Max was there at #31 for Detroit, but I think he goes in the first round specifically because his archetype is in high demand.

He's got the offensive game of a PF but blocks and rebounds like a small PG.

Assuming the Pacers get a PF with the 7 (Walker or Hendricks), I'd really like to get O-Max at 26, but I expect him to go higher.

I dont get it with OMP. Ya, he tested tremendously well and has the look of the always in demand forward w/ 3 and D. And I know stats are not everything, but how do you get 0.2 BPG with that bounce? Its insane to me. Also, and again all stats are just a piece of the puzzle, but his DWS48 and DBPM are really poor too.

IDK, see a late riser due to scarcity of what he brings in measurables and the huge demand for DFS types - but I think he ends up a Troy Brown JR.

And just like that, he ends in Dallas too.
As Mavs fan, I don't know how to feel about it
