When the Jazz signed Jarrell Brantley I wondered if it means they're going to shut Markkanen down. Now he's GTD. Could be nothing. But the tank could use a 40-minute game from Brantley.

Let's hope that they play it safe and keep him out a few games.

There were numerous contributors to the win, but gotta love Dunn's 10 assists with zero turnovers and efficient 18 points. Rookie Ochai is improving and gaining confidence. Nearly a triple double from Olynyk. Rookie Kessler got two blocks on All Star Sabonis in the last three and a half minutes of the game.

We're still too good to tank!

Props to this guys. Without their best 3 scorers beat kings who are 2/3 in the west.

Hardy is doing a great Job, and players are maintaining their focus.

That was a fun game but seriously, what the H?

We're benching all of our players and still win games. At this point I'd say we should bench Hardy but he's already permanently on the bench. Maybe we should give him a paid vacation until the end of the season.

Will Hardy is an excellent coach, but there was one winning lineup decision that might have been luckily dictated by events beyond his control, and that was the decision to finish out the game with Dunn as PG rather than THT. Dunn arguably got his opportunity simply because THT got his fifth foul with 9:15 left in the game. Dunn was substituted in to the game and responded with winning basketball down the stretch: 7 pts on 2-2 fg, 1-1 3p, 2-2 ft, 3 assists and 0 tovs.

What has been happening, particularly the last two games, is beyond belief. I find myself hoping for a competitive game but a close loss at the end, and when that doesn't happen I have such mixed emotions of being happy for the team but sad to watch those better draft picks slip away.

I don't meant to speak for the group, but I'm pretty sure this is the response of many Jazz fans right now (me included).

I freakin' love this team, though. Can't cheer against them. Dunn is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Sometimes I find myself foolishly wondering if there's any chance the Jazz can Cinderella themselves into a competitive playoff series or even win.

At this point this is a play-off team.

Keep on doing that, anything can happen in sports. These wins against better opponents are no flukes.

That quite possibly is the best post-game coach interview I ever read. Not just generic bla-bal but a lot of content, well thought and perfectly delivered evaluation with emotional emphasis in just right places.

The x factor is Dunn's play and the rooks rounding into form. I feel like this team is a lot more balanced now than it was at the beginning of the season.

The team at the beginning was winning due to hot shooting + Lauri but it had piss poor defense.

The current version has a bit inferior offense but a much more stable defense.

Dunn also has helped us get over the Conley loss. If it was just THT manning the PG spot we would have had a lot more losses
