Assume they replace the current Lakers and if there's any doubling of players existing in the same playoffs ignore it

You can adjust the rotation or minutes distribution however you want, interesting to see who makes the top 12 and the minutes distribution playstyle this team would adopt

There's certainly a lot of defense around LeBron, but the offense-creation for that team is pretty much just LeBron. You'd really want someone who can take some of that responsibility so LeBron doesn't have to play 44+ minutes each game as the only offense-creator for all those minutes. I'd expect you'd see some wear-down at the end of close games.
Still, the team defense would be excellent and there's guys who can make open shots if the defense leaves to collapse on LeBron so they'd be tough to beat. I'd expect them to beat any WC team they played and hold their own against the top EC teams. Still probably lose a tough series against Boston or Mil if either team is in peak health and form for a playoff series.

Could see this team being a 6+ SRS squad, first in the league. So my guess is contender. The interior defense isn't great, but this is 2010 LeBron James (arguably his best basketball of his career, pre elbow / 2nd round exit) we are talking about.. a tremendous forward defender along with clear positives like KCP/Battier playing too.
This is not to mention Caruso and his P.O.A. capabilities. In today's game, 2010 James would have all the more bandwidth to bludgeon teams interiorly and pick up fouls and (with the way the league is progressing) become even more an efficacious 'Morey-Ball' playmaker than 2010. I see some issues with this team's offense in non James minutes that may not give them the best offensive rating in aggregate.. but it would still be stellar on both sides. I'd pick them to win it all, especially come out of the west.
For our current Lakers team.. I'm cautiously optimistic but nervous. We'll see what happens
