OMG you guys we won the big playoff game this is nuts!!

Jay! Other Jay! Derrick! Rob! Horf! Smart! Celts put on a clinic, led by 30 at half and then fought off a Hawks comeback to get the win.

It appears the Celtics are at least two full levels better than ATL. Only danger is the team gets as confident as I am and lets their guard down. Kinda like they did in the 3rd quarter lol. Keep steamrolling these dudes!

Game 2 is Tuesday at 7pm on NBATV and NBCSB. GO C'S!!

First half good, second half was total ****. They ruined what was a great game in the 2nd half with their lackadaisical play.

Don't like how the team played in the 2nd half. If it weren't for big plays by Horford and Smart, Hawks could have made it a ballgame.

I still don't like them taking the foot off the gas pedal, but I feel in this one, it was somewhat expected. Just win game 2 and then be ready to perform in game 3.

White's stat line was arguably the best on the team (a lot fewer shots than Tatum or Brown, and more blocks).

And to my eye he was the primary coverer of Young, who way underperformed his norm. (Murray had weak stats too.)

I want to be annoyed we let them even get within striking distance but, whatever. Great game and great win, overall. We were never losing this game. Problem is the celtics knew that too which is why the game got somewhat close.

Tatum and Brown can share the CP for me. The VC goes to D White for me. White played great for 48 minutes.

Smart, Horford, R Williams, Brogdon all played well.

Excellent team win. A lot of nice efforts.

This Hawks team is so bad on defense.

They should beat the sixers as well but you never know with this club. First and foremost beat this awful hawks team.

Good win, the first half was everything we hoped to see from the Celtics, the 2nd half not so much. They basically played at half-speed and toyed with their food in the 3rd and 4th, and did enough to fend them off after the 30-point lead in the 1st half.

Hard to choose VC between the Jays for building that 30-point lead, and White, Smart, and Horford for being solid all around. I'm gonna be conservative and give it to White and Brown.

They need to be more merciless in Game 2. Hawks will definitely adjust their defense, maybe pack the paint more. Got to rain threes on them next game.
