Feel bad for Bud but this was an easy call. Good first step

Wow, wasn't expecting for it to happen after news about his brother broke.

Right decision, but still a bit surprised that they did it tbh. Giannis must have signed off on it.

Thanks for the memories, Bud.

Sad but necessary.

I think he may have also had power over player personel that was unnecessary.

Top 3 will be Vogel/Nurse/Atkinson and probably interview Charles Lee. Doubt if they are bringing everyone back for the last 2 year run they would go with someone with no HC experience.

Need to find our Phil Jackson (top assistant IMO). None of the retreads excite me, except for Nurse, and even he's kinda meh.

Wish Udoka would've waited.

Bud helped get us one. I'll be thankful for the rest of my days.

Now could we maybe have 2 or 3? You can make a compelling argument, yeah. But I'm thankful for the one, nonetheless.

Love ya Bud, he'll find another job no doubt. Thankful for the ring and him making basketball fun in Mke again. That said, this had to be done and here's to the future.

I didn't want to talk after I heard the bad news about Bud because I had mixed feelings. We obviously didn't go by our heart and did the reasonable thing. The pressure for Bud and the big 3 would have been enormous in the next playoffs and I doubt Bud was ready to change his entire philosophy so he would probably lose the entire locker room the first time our drop deep defense would burn again.

Bring a new head, change the defense, bring a proper PG and make us unpredictable and adjustable around Giannis force once again.

Thank you Coach Bud for everything!

No doubt Giannis signed off. Just please don't promote Lee. Maybe he'll be a good coach somewhere but we need new ideas.

As long as Giannis is behind this move I'm good with it.

Man, this is hard.

I know the innocence of the 2019 team has long been gone, and it’s been a much more serious group over the last few years, but this feels like a final reflection on that.

Bud introduced many of us to winning. He was probably the best regular season coach in the game, but beyond all that - he was just a good a dude.

He loved his players, and his players loved him. The culture he helped build was phenomenal.

His embrace with Giannis after winning the title is something I think about frequently. They did it, man.

I’ll miss him, and I wish him the best.

I get the move, but I’m really bummed about this. I’d honestly be very surprised if anyone moves the needle any more with the way the roster is constructed. It feels a bit like Bud is a scapegoat for mediocre roster moves that didn’t pan out.

Bud immediately turned us into a professional nba franchise the moment he stepped into the role. Will forever be grateful for that and his role in bringing us a championship. I do think it was time to move forward though and bring in someone who could give us a better chance to succeed in the playoffs.

Appreciate you Bud for everything you’ve done in Milwaukee, class act of a person. Correct decision to part ways though, I think we definitely peaked with his system and coaching style

Really don't get keeping Horst if we are letting Bud go. Don't know what he's hanging his hat on since the PJ trade.
