Before Mikal was traded from Phoenix, he was seen strictly as a 3&D player who couldn't really create his own offense. He goes to Brooklyn, and we know the rest.
Basically, as the title says, if OG had the opportunity on another team, would he be able to take a similar leap as Mikal has in Brooklyn?

Re: Can OG Anunoby Take the Same Leap as Mikal Bridges?
OG's biggest offensive failing is his strange lack of balance on drives. It neuters a lot of the physical advantages he would otherwise be bringing on offense.
OG has a bit of juice shooting 3s off the dribble, and he can bully a mismatch in the post, but he lacks any kind of in between game. He doesn't have a pull up counter, and like I said he tends to get knocked off balance on his drives. This makes him easy to run off the 3 point line into territory where he's non-threatening. He's Unless OG can magically improve this flaw, he's fairly limited as an on-ball offense player. At this point I'd rather see him evolve as a movement shooter than a high-volume driver.
Bridges also always demonstrated better decision making skills than OG. In a low volume role, Bridges made great reads. He's being stretched in that regard now with way more on-ball reps, and jury is still out no how well he scales up as a playmaker. Either way he's been stronger in this area than OG.
I've long been higher on OG defensively (compared to Bridges). I felt Bridges was more of a defensive specialist (bothering small guards and chasing people around screens), where OG is as close to a defensive anchor that wings can get with his combination of switchability, passing lane disruption, and secondary rim protection. But I think the question being asked is whether he scales up as a scoring/playmaking star and I think the indicators on that one aren't positive.
