Welcome Ricky Council IV

Post#1 » by Negrodamus » Fri Jun 23, 2023 1:33 pm

Excellent first step, elite athlete, good upside on defense, very good FT shooter. Now if he can just get a (stop me if you’ve heard this one before) three point shot, he’d be at minimum a nice rotation player.

I’m glad we grabbed him over a non-basketball player like Chris Livingston.

He's tall, athletic, and strong. So he has a good baseline to develop. It's going to take a great development staff to mold him into a good basketball player, though. Hopefully Nurse and co go to work on him.

Never heard him talk but, despite his athleticism being the thing that pops off, he seems like he has a pretty high BBIQ in this video. Also has a good personality.

I wish, actually just that he spiked heart rates and lulled defenders to sleep so much in high school that the kids called him the IV.

Nurse was a great shooter so I'm hopeful he can help improve our players improve there.

When you get your rocks off by being constantly negative, UDFA can be considered “busts” too!
