I’ve always been an MJ fan and other than his practice/on court persona, which is separate from real life — I don’t think he is a bad guy.

If anything, you are almost forced to be a bad guy at times when you are that famous.

He probably gets really really sick of being hassled by people.

Look how Bieber acts with the paparazzi. He’d probably be a really nice guy but they drive him nuts.

I've always thought Jordan being a bad guy was overblown. He may have been a difficult teammate and has a big ego, but many top players are like that.

MJ seems like a pretty damn good dude actually. There are not many athletes out there who have been more charitable than him over the last decade. 10s of millions for medical facilities in underprivilaged areas, 10M to Make-A-Wish, a couple million to Feeding America, etc.

It's wild that people want to determine these people are "bad" people based on just knowing a public persona. These are complicated humans, with positives and negatives attributes, and unless someone consistently does terrible things or does something attrocious, concluding that are a bad person is pretty funny.
