This is hilarious. I’ve been saying for years this guy is scum and a trash player. Never seen Clippers fans turn on a player like this. This is much more common with Lakers fans or Celtics fans etc. Clippers fans are much more chill usually.

People on social media are toxic in general. Everyone would be better for it if they stopped using social media

couldnt agree more. i deleted my twitter account like a year ago and im much better off for it. it really does amplify all of our worst aspects. we're bolder, meaner, more self righteous, more likely to judge interactions by what kind of entertainment value they provide... even (or perhaps especially) at the expense of others, mob mentality, disinformation, echo chambers.... we really are our worst selves online... and i do fear where we will end up the longer we stay logged on...

but i digress. i would argue from a sports perspective, all fan bases have toxic elements, and as stated above, those elements are only amplified on social media. That point im making is that laker fans seem to get called out for this behavior as though we're THE fan base that does this, while everyone else is great. Just check the OP

Is the "spotlight" much bigger when lakers fans do this because maaaaybe people are pre-disposed to dislike laker fans so every time a story drops about some bum on twitter sending a cowardly message to a player on twitter, everyone takes the chance to make it a whole ass conversation about "lakers fans being the worst".

Oh I’m aware I’m a bit toxic about it. I’ve been going after Morris hard for 2+ years on Twitter. He blocked me this summer for saying if he’s on the team by this season the team would flame out hard because he sucks balls. He’s a **** player.
