**NBA Draft Discussion 2024**

Post#1 » by DayofMourning » Sat Nov 18, 2023 6:26 pm

Post all your opinions, thoughts, and favorite players in the 2024 draft here!

Some helpful links to get you started:

It's still too early to really project who is going to land where, but it looks to be the year of the G League, as quite a few prospects will likely land in the lottery.

Miami looks to be picking in the 20s at their current rate, but there's no harm in scouting all the players, regardless of draft position.

Hopefully we can add another ready to contribute immediately type talent if we keep our pick.

Go Heat!

You guys have been busy throwing some videos and names out here already. I haven't even had time to scout for the upcoming draft. I have something to look at for this upcoming weekend when I get bored.

Take a look at Tyrese Proctor from Duke and see what you think. Hes pretty interesting. We need to pull for that 15th pick.

What about Rob Dillingham? I just generally look in our range at Kentucky players with some fit.

If we did that we'd be:
C - Bam Adebayo
PF - Jaime Jacquez (no good Kentuckians that year)
SF - Devin Booker
SG - Tyler Herro
PG - Tyrese Maxey / TyTy Washington (instead of Jovic)

Edit: I can't believe I didn't see all the posts above specifically about him. Sorry

Miami has been doing really well in drafting talent at whatever range they pick. They need to keep the pick, having young cheap talent to build around is key, specially when your top heavy like we are. I imagine we will continue to be.

Theyve done very well ever since Caron. I cannot even hold Beasley and Winslow against them. Those were universally accepted picks.

What do you think of Kevin McCullar? To my uneducated eyes he looks a bit like JJJ and Butler being able to play in traffic some. Do you think he will continue to be able to draw fouls in the NBA?
