Tyrese with 23 assists and counting tonight. Nesmith on fire from 3 too.

Follow up - this film school was recorded before the Knicks played the Magic,. and the Pacers played the Bulls. CC suggested that maybe the Knicks were playing RJ Barrett in a certain way because they were marketing him for a trade.... once again,. I am amazed. LOL =]

After a year at Duke and 4+ years in the NBA, does a player really need to be showcased? Haven't all the teams had ample time to collect playing info on him?

It wasn't so much how he played,.. but 'if' he was playing and in what parts of the game. She was suggesting that he didn't actually contribute to winning as much as his playing time would suggest, and was even worse (essentially in +/-) when closing, but the Knicks couldn't 'not play him', because that would scream a lack of confidence by the Knicks which would significantly lower his trade value.

She had some other comments about the sets they were running & how he was performing in comparison to other players on the team,.. suggesting that they were playing him over others to maintain his trade value,.. 72 hours before he was traded,... LOL =]

Barrett doesn’t feel like the main piece in the trade that Toronto coveted. Isiah Quickly was the quality piece that the Raptors needed after the exit of Van Vleet and Lowry.

Barrett has been a confusing player from a fantasy player perspective. Some days he feels like a stud scoring threat and other days he disappears. Now to be fair to him I don’t know if it was fit in New York or if he’s just inconsistent of steady contribution.

As for the Knicks they gambled hoping to sign OG long term and they desperately needed(for this season)Achiuwa’s center abilities with the loss of Robinson and Sims. They lost a very good backup guard in Quickly but have many guards to audition for his spot.

As for the Pacers Tyrese was on a mission, Turner is playing very confidently, Mathurin scoring well, and Nesmith was on fire from 3.

I really thought the refs let it be a physical game last night. Luckily the Pacers were able to rebound much better in the second half.

Only negative I continue to see is turnovers. Mathurin and Nembhard have to tighten up their passes. I feel they can as they’re in a learning process.

Good win over a similar talented team in the East conference rankings.

On a side note it feels like Donte DiVencenzo loves to play against us.
