Jalen Green or Jalen Suggs?

Who would rather have on your team? Maybe I am crazy but I would love Suggs on the Nuggets

High level 3&D guys are an extremely wanted commodity with every team so I wouldn't be surprised if Suggs runs away with this poll.

I’m not sure Green has a role to play on an actual contending team. Give me Suggs.

It's not close, Suggs has shown massive shooting improvement every season and is now an efficient scorer, on top of already having a good NBA body frame and excellent defense.

Green has none of that going for him, only an ever-dimming light of potential.

Green either needs to learn other things than scoring or become efficient at it. Cant be an inefficient scorer who does nothing else lol.

While Suggs provides more things right now, I'd still take Green simply because I see a higher upside. I'd take the chance on Green reaching that vs Suggs becoming a Marcus Smart, which is fine but not something you aim for from the 5th pick in the draft.

Suggs all the way. Green isnt really improving while Suggs has been slowly but consistently improving offensively, and has become a good shooter, he still has a lot of room to grow. And defensively it's a no contest, Suggs is gonna be an alldefense team candidate for years to come.

Jalen Green's development feels pretty stalled, right now. Comfortably Jalen Suggs.

It's the classic comparison of an excellent role player versus a scorer who fits the "star" prototype, even if he isn't really that good yet. Most good teams with a star or two already in place will definitely opt for Suggs. It's plausible that a rebuilding team with no good scorers on the roster still might want to gamble on the high upside of Jalen Green, but that window is closing. It won't be much longer until Green is no longer considered a star potential guy.

This is really not even close. Green hasn't improved one iota since his rookie season and Suggs is on an upward trajectory.

Green has 3.8 points on Suggs with an extra 4 shots per game. I'd say Suggs is better than Green at everything else. If Suggs becomes an elite defender with elite volume 3 point shooting (currently 40% on 5 attempts per game) then he's the perfect complimentary piece to a couple of elite scorers.

You really got me stumped lol

I’m not a Suggs fan but he is easily a better pro than Green.

Green has been so underwhelming, Suggs at least have been improving, including his shooting, and can play some defense. Worst case scenario for him will be what, Caruso like of player? That's good enough, even if he has been drafted at the fifth.

Suggs is legit impressive this year. Still not the pure point PG people thought he'd be out of college, but shooting well now in addition to being an absolute pest on defense.

Green makes things look so easy at times but idk, something isn't quite there.. not sure what has to change for him to reach his potential.

I'm curious since I typically agree with your opinions... why are you not a fan of a good shooter that plays all-nba level defense every night?

Suggs can be a 2-way starting guard on a championship level team at his peak...Green is more of an elite 6th man at his ceiling.

Good question.

I really liked him coming out of the draft but he had a rough start in the nba. I guess I thought he would be an athletic lead guard instead of a 3 and d guy.

He is an excellent defensive player and would be great next to a high powered pg with defensive issues (Lillard, Trae etc).

Better than Green. HOU was a mess. Hopefully he can continue to develop.

Yeah, I was also expecting a completely different player than what he's turning into but I love what he has made out of his career so far. I personally view him as an untradeable piece for the magic alongside Paolo and Franz. Suggs is the heart of the team.

What's really funny is Magic fans have to switch to the opposite argument from the Chet vs. Paolo thread.
