Kyle Kuzma On Staying With Wizards: I Wanted To Stay And To Build Something

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 13, 2024 2:39 pm

Ahead of last Thursday's NBA trade deadline, there was a point with the Washington Wizards were close to trading Kyle Kuzma to the Dallas Mavericks. Even though Kuzma doesn't have the ability to block a trade, Washington's front office leader Michael Winger presented him with the trade idea anyway.

“There was a point in time, Dallas, they definitely did want me,” Kuzma told The Athletic on Monday, before the Wizards played the Mavericks at American Airlines Center. “(Michael) Winger presented me with what the trade was and obviously didn’t want to trade me and kind of left the decision up to me a little bit and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to stay and continue to build something. And that was kind of the end of it.”

Winger later said that Kuzma is an important part of what the Wizards are building.

“Kyle’s an important player for us and (a) significant contributor to our developing culture,” Winger told The Athletic on Monday.

Build that bank account!

Build generational wealth like Howard, Gil, Wall and Beal...

Honestly if you a fringe Allstar on a bad team but would be a friends starter on a contender, the wiz will make you one of the highest paiD guys on earth ....

He's locked in for the next 4 years. Money has nothing to do with it. He was a 4th option to Lebron in LAL. He knows what that was like. Why sign up to be the 4th option to Luka in DAL? He'd rather be the biggest fish in the smallest pond than to jump back into the ocean.

Oh yeah that big fish in a small pond thing. Who cares about winning games as long as you get to be the man.

35.5% of Texas women are considered obese compared to 24.3 in DC. Dallas is better if you like fat chicks.

So it's perfectly ok with you to insult people who are overweight? I'll say that I'm like Sir Mix-a-lot!

36/24/36 maybe if you're 5'3'' Even white boys gotta shout, "Baby Got Back!"

OR! If you're in Texas

Maybe it's not "cool" or "healthy" to be fat and mostly a result of life choices!? Can't feel for them, sorry :D
