Which lottery pick makes another young player available?

For example, DET likes Duren, but he's got some holes in his game. I don't think Duren is valuable enough to lead DET to NOT choose BPA, if it's a Center.

So, ORL now (after DET drafts Clingan or Sarre) might not get hung up on if it inquires about Duren. Maybe say the same about Ivey for DET.

What are some other examples of (likely) draftees that could make a good but lesser player somewhat expendable?
