Jokic has never beaten a 50 win team in the playoffs

Post#1 » by LockoutSeason » Mon May 20, 2024 2:50 am

He’s also lost 2 game 7s on his home floor. He’s been swept as an MVP and lost in the first round as an MVP.

Outside of last year’s watered down run, his playoff resume is just as bad as Embiid’s.

Genuinely curious...

Is it true Kobe beat more 50+ win teams in the playoffs than anyone?

Last year was definitely a weaker field than other recent years, as I said all along.

Jokic has a championship. Embiid has not and has not even made a conference finals. C'mon man.

Asterisk title team. Beating teams like LAL and the Miami Butlers.

Joker “one hit wonder“ has been exposed

He worked on his hook shots but forgot to work on his threes

If not for embiids injuries sixers would have at the least got to the finals by now.

Jokic wasn’t even the best big man out there today. He and nuggets got exposed , last year was a fluke since other teams were injured

Embiids playoff resume is filled with him playing terribly. Jokic has been great in literally every series of his career.

If you rank the 14 series Jokic has played in his playoffs, and the 10 playoff series Embiid has played, 1-24, I'm absolutely certain the top 8 would be Jokic series and the bottom 5 all Embiid.

What makes you think that? the zero great playoff series he's had in his career?

Technically not true

Jokic also has another conference finals appearance which still alludes Embiid.

Jokic has won a title, so Embiid is not comparable. But yes, he's never beaten a 50-win team, which speaks volumes

Sure but it hasn't happened therefore Jokic's playoff resume is better. A resume is what you did and accomplished, not what you could have done.
