Denver Trades:
Reggie Jackson (opt-in)
Zeke Nnaji
28th overall draft pick
Charlotte Trades:
Vasilije Micic
Seth Curry
Denver Reason: They turn the 28th overall draft pick and Zeke Nnaji into two win now bench piece that give them more offense off the bench.
Charlotte Reason: They turn two vets that shouldn't be part of their young future into a similar vet point guard on a one year deal, Zeke Nnaji who is still just 23 and has a lot of experience in a winning culture and a draft pick to add to their youth. Nnaji's contract may be seen as a negative, but I think most people don't realize he is still just 23 and with the rate contracts are going up, that isn't that crazy of a contract and can be moved.

Re: Denver/Charlotte
The players Denver are receiving just are not enough if any of an upgrade to what they are sending out. If I am sending out 28 I want to at least get a for sure rotation player back better than RJ. No reason to just pay to realize the negative contract of Nnaji for no real reason.

28 in this draft is like a mid second round pick in others

Re: Denver/Charlotte
I wouldn't trade Micic as a part of this
Nnaji and #28 probably just about canceling each other out
Nnaji and #28 probably just about canceling each other out
investigate Adam Silver

I absolutely disagree with this. The #3 pick in this draft is like the #8 in others, but I love the depth in this draft, playoff teams love this class. Denver has a great chance to land a 4 year contributor with the 28th pick. It's valuable, especially for a team that needs cheap bench pieces.
I don't see the point of this trade for Denver whatsoever. Jackson is a much better offensive player than Micic and Seth Curry is pretty much done. Nnaji is still young enough to possibly be salvaged.

I agree with you. This draft is lacking a sure super star potential but it has quality into the second round. Very deep draft

No it isn't. Why do people keep saying this?
It is the top of the draft that is weak, not the mid-1st and certainly not the end of the 1st.
