The Golden State Warriors have guaranteed the $8 million contract of Kevon Looney for the 24-25 season. Before Monday's deadline, Looney's salary was only guaranteed for $3 million.
Looney will enter Year 3 of a three-year, $22.5 million deal sign after the Warriors won the championship in 2022.
Looney could eventually be part of a trade package depending on how the Warriors' offseason plays out.
Looney's role with the Warriors decreased last season following the emergence of Trayce Jackson-Davis.
