OG Anunoby officially declined his player option on Monday and will be an unrestricted free agent.
The Knicks can offer Anunoby a five-year contract worth $245 million. Other teams can go up to $182 million over four years.
The Sixers are one of several teams expected to have interest in signing Anunoby.
The Knicks are hoping to re-sign both Anunoby and Isaiah Hartenstein this summer.
