Is Bryce James a better prospect than Bronny?

Post#1 » by uncleduck13 » Fri Jun 28, 2024 6:10 pm

Keep hearing that Bryce is the better prospect and the kid that we should really keep our eyes on. But really? This narrative feels forced. Other than being taller, I don’t see what makes him more special than Bronny.

At some point we just have to accept that LeBron’s kids aren’t very good at basketball…in the same way that MJ’s weren’t. It’s fine. The greats usually don’t produce GREAT offspring. It’s usually the other way around. There are former players with far better upcoming prospects. Such as Melo, Gilbert Arenas, and Carlos Boozer.

I believe he was but now he's just seen as a mid-major prospect.

3* prospect according to Rivals.

Children of pro athletes are overwhelmingly more likely to become the same than children of everyone else. Same with lawyers and doctors. Just fyi.

For the record, I’m fine with both of them failing. As a person though, I have a tough time poo poo-ing anybody pursuing their dream, regardless of the odds.

Just looks like he's a taller with a better jump shot, but is slow and doesn't have the athleticism as his brother.

FWIW that was the story for Marcus Jordan too. He was the better of Jeff and him and was going to be a player. Didn’t even finish his D2 college career. Mind you Jeffery did play for Illinois but he was a walk on. He also did play with his bro down in Florida too. Better prospect is subjective.

As of right now, he is not a better prospect than Bronny. Perhaps that could change down the line, but who knows.

Hes bigger than Bronny, Taller and has a more built young Lebron like frame that could look to fill out as a proper NBA body. Supposedly hes the best shooter out of the two brothers but Bronny's feels more natural from a glance. Biggest issue with him is that he doesn't have a good feel for the sport like his brother, he lacks nba skills severely.

Bronny is definitely the better prospect but Bryce could surpass him. Funny enough I think if you combined the two you would get a legit NBA prospect.

Bryce is the dancer in the family. He moves far better than Bronny does.

Ok. I'm officially done with the James family. Don't wanna see em, don't wanna talk about em. They just gave us one of the stupidest, self aggrandizing stunts ever pulled in the NBA and now we're lining up for the next one? It's way, way too much.

It's official, LeBron is now my least favorite player in NBA history, certainly not even in the top 10 and his kids can go somewhere.

I get that impression when I watch him play. No fire whatsoever.

The decision was worse IMO
