Capela to the Orlando Magic, with LAL

Orlando Magic

Wendell Carter Jr & Caleb Houstan
For
Clint Capela & 1 2nd (LAL)

If the team has been in the gym putting up 3s all summer and can hit some more next year, adding a big like Capela can open the doors for them to start running and gunning more, starting fastbreaks from doing the dirty work down low on D, and allowing more risks in the backcourt

CAPELA
BANCHERO
WAGNER
CALDWELL-POPE
SUGGS

Los Angeles Lakers

Jalen Hood-Shifino, Jaxson Hayes, Cam Reddish, Christian Wood, 4 2nds & cash considerations
For
Wendell Carter Jr

Open some much needed roster spots
They keep their bigger assets for bigger moves, and add a big man next to AD & get him some extra rest after the olympics
Should make a fine compliment to him, while taking plenty minutes when Davis rests

CARTER
DAVIS
JAMES
REAVES
RUSSELL

Atlanta Hawks

Clint Capela
For
Jalen Hood-Shifino, Jaxson Hayes, Caleb Houstan, Cam Reddish, Christian Wood, 3 2nds & cash considerations

Teams can receive $7m in a trade so they can buyout Wood, Reddish & anyone else they need to before rosters are set
Some decent assets for the expiring big man rumored to be otw out for some time

Tough to see the point for Orlando. I'd have WCJ at least as good as Capella.

Capela makes $22 mil, WCJ and Houstan make $14mil combined. Think Orlando keeps the cheaper, more versatile player.
