Clippers get: Clarke
Grizzlies trade: Clarke/Zaire
Grizzlies get: Capela
Hawks get a couple 2nds and clear even more wiggle room under tax. Can buy out one or both of the guys they get
Clippers get the PF they need for nothing but distant 2nds
Grizzlies get a center to pair with Edey for a year and gain salary flexibility for next year

Even if his minutes go down to ~20 per game, Capela is more valuable to the Hawks than two distant 2nds.

Chuck - it seems you missed Edey’s performance in the Summer League. He is our starter at 5. We don’t need Capela. Fast, athletic, offensive minded Clarke is more valuable to us given how differs he from Little Buddha.

Grizz have absolutely no interest. Clarke is our 3rd big at half the cost and younger. Clarke has more value to the Grizz even coming off injury. We likely move off Ziaire for a 5th big/Center but it will be for less money not 22 million.
