South Sudan big man Bol Bol will miss the Paris Olympics due to a personal matter. Bol had been included in South Sudan's preliminary roster, but will now miss the games.
Bol re-signed with the Phoenix Suns this offseason. The 7-foot-3 forward/center had hoped to make his debut for South Sudan this summer. Bol missed last summer's FIBA World Cup because he was focused on his NBA free agency.
South Sudan is in Group C at the Olympics. That group includes the United States, Serbia and Puerto Rico.
