The Cincinnati Reds have begun to inform other clubs that they are willing to part with players on expiring contracts, according to a report.
The Reds were swept by the Washington Nationals coming out of the All-Star break and currently sit six games under .500.
Cincinnati has a few interesting pending free agents -- right-handers Frankie Montas and Nick Martinez, outfielder Austin Slater and lefty Justin Wilson.
