A well deserved and fair extension. Thibs has done a great job brining the Knicks back to a place of relevancy. But not a good enough job where he deserved a Spo/Kerr/Pop/Monty Williams type of long term commitment.

When was the last time the Knicks had the same head coach for 5+ years? Van Gundy?

Considering how well the Knicks have done and how tied the Nova boys (especially Brunson) are to him, Thibs coming back was like Thanos in Endgame

Of course, we all know what happened to Thanos, but let's forget about that part.
