Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jul 31, 2024 7:58 pm

Jarrett Allen and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a three-year, $91 million contract extension. Allen is now under contract for $131 million over the next five seasons. Allen is represented by Jim Tanner and Derrick Powell.

Allen previously re-signed with the Cavaliers as a free agent in 2021 on a five-year, $100 million deal.

He sees Mobley coming to take minutes from him. He couldn't wait any longer to reach for the green.

Seems high for a non-shooter, rebounder, and dunker

But I guess that is the going rate (Isaiah Hartenstein)

It’s actually not IHart money bc Allen’s still under contract for 2 more seasons at 20M each before his extension kicks in

IHart will be on his next deal when Allen still has 2 years left.

Allen’s Percentage of the cap will be lower than what in years 2 and 3 of his extension than Ihart
