Preseason opener 10/8: 6pm EDT Bulls @ Cavs

BD says there is a chance everybody plays including Lonzo and Giddey. I'm really curious to see how the minutes shakeout in the first half with Pat and Matas and Vuc and Smith. Not really much we can take beyond that imo.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Matas. It will be neat seeing Lonzo but I'm more worried about how he'll feel after some real games come November. I don't expect to learn much about his his year will go until then.

Ayo really should be starting at PG but Coby is better for the tank and also he needs to be showcased for potential trades.

I'd rather see Ayo against backups personally. Not convinced he's a starter quality PG and White if nothing else has improved his handle enough to be a primary handler.

Coby, LaVine, and Giddey is probably the worst defensive backcourt in the league. But again, I'm pro-tank so this is an ideal scenario.

Yup, I've said it numerous times already, we need to just embrace a fast pace can't defend anybody anyways strategy. It will boost the value of our guys and we're going nowhere fast anyways. Might as well try and be a bit fun bad.

12-20. It will be a snooze fest after half. And even 2nd quarters can get extremely boring and sloppy. There's so little to take away other than maybe rotations but we'll see what we can see.

At work. In the good days of NBC sports Chicago, I can stream the game either on phone or on the computer. Gotta love good ol JR going old man Wirtz on us

I’m not sure I get the panic about our defense. We lost AC and DeMar. AC was super, DeMar was subpar. Caruso didnt even start and was injured often. If Lonzo returns even half time, it will matter. I expect our defense to be about the same as last year.
