Lonzo Ball Plans To Play In Two Of Final Three Preseason Games

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Oct 12, 2024 11:54 am

Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball's long road back to the court is nearly complete. Ball has been practicing with the Bulls throughout training camp. Now, the veteran point guard plans to play in two of Chicago's final three preseason games over the next week.

Ball has not appeared in an NBA game since January 14, 2022. He's had multiple surgeries since that point and has missed the entirety of the last two seasons.

Ball said his knee is "feeling good" and that he "feels better than he has in a long time". The Bulls have been pleased with the way he's played and how Ball's knee had held up during training camp.

Ball will make $21,395,348 this season in the final year of his $80 million contract.

Assuming that he is healthy enough to play, there is no way any team will give him more than the vet minimum going forward

How about salute him for being able to make a return to the court, instead of you focusing on his contract! The nerve of some people.

He hasn't worked since Jan 2022 and still gets paid so it's fair for people to bring it up.

Would love to see Lonzo have a comeback season. I'm cheering for him.

I dont care ppl bring up millions in salary but the reason he hasnt worked is he recieved a work injury which didnt allow him to play so its only fair they pay him right?

IN a salary cap league where resources are artificially limited it's more than fair to point out when a player has been collecting a paycheck but not playing. It's not a judgement, it's just a statement of fact.
