Jerry Reinsdorf is open to selling the Chicago White Sox and is in \"active discussions\" with a group led by Dave Stewart, according to a report.
Reinsdorf, 88, bought the club for about $20 million in 1981. He has developed a reputation for being on the meddlesome side, leading to reports of tumult from within the organization.
He reportedly owns only a 19% stake in the club, but is nonetheless the principal owner of the White Sox.
