The Washington Wizards may have assembled the worst team in the HISTORY of the NBA

Post#1 » by Godymas » Fri Dec 6, 2024 4:18 pm

The Wizards suck, they suck so bad I’m getting sales rep calls still to try and buy ticket packages today.

The Wizards suck, they suck so bad they have the worst offense AND worst defense.

The Wizards suck, they suck so bad I bought tickets to see the G League Capital City Go Go instead.

The Wizards suck, they suck so bad they have the WORST NET RATING IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA. https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/who-has-the-worst-net-rating-in-nba-history-single-season

It’s sad because I don’t think the wizards have ever been relevant in my lifetime. Never once in my life have I said “This is the year the Wizards might win the championship!”

When it gets that bad, I believe a change in ownership is needed to completely change the culture and organization

Dunno how old you are, but the Bullets were pretty dope in the late 70s. They made 3 Finals in 5 years and won a title in 78, and were in the Finals as Baltimore in 71 as well.

I’m in my 30’s so I wasn’t alive then.

Bro, when they were the Bullets?! The USA wasn’t too far removed segregation in the 70s

Why don't they play Johnny Davis more? They don't know what they have with him because he never plays

Good. They should be sucking as hard as possible this year. Let Coulibaly, Sarr, and Carrington take as many lumps as they can handle without it messing with their confidence, and guarantee themselves another top 5 pick.

Glad we've (apparently) got our sh*t together since then.

I'm early 40s, they were the bullets in my childhood. Owner changed the name in the 90s due to gun violence which was off the charts bad through the 70s-80s and into the 90s. I wish they'd go back. Bullets is a much cooler name.

They need Flagg more than any franchise. I could see a really bright future with Sarr/Flagg/Bilal up front (awesome defense) and Carrington plus others in the backcourt

I wasn't alive in the 70s either, I just wanted to do the appropriate shoutout for when the franchise was crushing it for most of a decade. They've struggled enough since that they deserve a reminder from time to time.

Gil already tried his best to get that campaign running. Following the NBA since 93, actually pretty crazy that they never really managed to stay relevant longer than 1 or 2 seasons in that period with the amount of talented players they had.

Just on principle alone, for being so bad, Silver is going to make sure they don't get Flagg.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Glad we've (apparently) got our sh*t together since then.

And the Hawks beat Boston and the Cavs.
Washington is the best team in the East. I don't make the rules.

Have we officially reached "Could (insert best college team) beat the Wizards?" circa 2012 and the Kentucky Wildcats vs. Bobcats territory?

I believe the Hawks are the only team to lose to the Wizards twice and also beat the Cavs twice.

When you make Kyle Kuzma one of your building blocks this is what you get...
