Maybe they're more casual fans, they don't look up stats and analytics?
Otherwise yeah I think they have at least as big a fanbase as the Celtics, so it's strange. Unless it's something unfortunate, like the Celtics through much of their history have been seen as a "white" team, many of their iconic stars throughout history have been white players and that's why southern states have so many Celtics fans?
Hell even Tennessee prefers the Celtics over the Grizzlies?
