Washington/NOP

Washington is a team not able to attract top free agents. And they have plenty of youth that building is their only way to succeed.

NOP salvages the Zion years by simply moving him for tradable pieces.

Washington sends Kuzma and Bagley
NOP sends Williamson.

As others stated, if Zion does not play, cut him -save the money.

There’s no point to this for New Orleans. Better to try Zion for another year. Hope he stays healthy and get a high draft pick if not. There’s no chance Griffin sells this low.

Again, if this is all you can get, you don't trade him. The contract has outs so you don't need to just dump him. Why are people still suggesting they do this?

Sure? Not sure why NOP does this.
