GT #33: Pelicans @ Bullets 6 PM (MonSportsNet/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Sun Jan 5, 2025 10:00 pm

YOUR Washington Bullets are 6-26!!

On Friday, they faced the Pels and got a 50-piece from CJ McCollum. The game was broken open in the 4th quarter for a double digit NOLA victory.

Tonight is the rematch in DC. Bilal Coulibaly is out with illness. Jordan Poole is also out.

Will another Pelicans player get a career best tonight?!

Man, Bilal must be dealing with a brutal New Years Eve hangover.

I'm surprised the Pelicans are favored.

It's all good.

They teased us with competitive games and a few wins. They can lose the next 10-15 for all I care.

Agreed. It's important to lose the games against bad teams. If we want to screw around and have a hot night against a half-decent team like the Bulls every once in a while, that's fine. But we have to make sure we deliver a few wins to the Pelicans.

Watching Trey Murphy next to Corey the bum Kispert is the epitome of the Sheppard years. Awful talent evaluation…

It's hard not to like Butler. He is just a solid player - maybe not a starter, but a really good guy to have on your team.

Corey the brick master from 3 Kispert: 0/6 3pt shots with his customary putrid D. And Dawkins gave him a 4 year extension :banghead:

He would have a lot more value if the team was actually good. We could have really used him during the Wall years.

Hopefully this game will help Kuzma's trade value.

At least Sarr finished with a double double. 15 points and 10 boards so far. That's his second double-double in 3 games!

EDIT: Now 18 and 11!

Kyshawn might be the worst volume 3 pt shooter in the league. :(
