As far as career, I still think he has Harden beat since when healthy, Kawhi was considered one of the top 3-5 two-way players in the NBA and he's got multiple rings where Harden has zero and never played defense.

Kawhis peak was otherworldly. Didn't last long but I truly think, in that era, only LeBron at his peak was ahead of him. Kawhi Curry and KD were in that next tier. And then just below that was Harden. So for that reason I gotta take Kawhi, I think he peaked higher even though Harden has the mvp and the insane numbers.

I honestly think Kawhi was the best player in the NBA in 2019. I know he was load managed, but as a Raptors fan it was surreal to watch.

Career it's Harden, Kawhi just has too many missed games.

Peak it is Kawhi. Kawhi is more resilient in the post-season, and while he's far below as a playmaker, he's right there as a scorer and makes up the playmaking deficit with his impact on defense in comparison to Harden.

This is actually a good tricky question.... One is a part time player who has won championships..Other has dominated regular seasons for like a decade but fell short in the playoffs.

I can't imagine ranking Leonard over Harden here. The gap is massive here. Leonard is certainly an interesting case study, as he obviously had an insane run in 2019...though even then he was banged up in the finals.
