Our Starting Five No Longer Sucks Update: In 20.2 minutes vs. ORL, the DW/JH/JB/JT/KP lineup outscored the Magic by FIFTEEN POINTS! Shot the hell out of the ball. Produced 56 pts on 57/50/83 splits. 12 assists and just 2 turnovers. 143.6 offensive rating, 102.5 defensive rating, 41.1 net rating, 70.6% TS% against the #3 defense in the league.

So shame on the people who gave up on them before last night. It sure wasn't me.

PARTIAL INJURY REPORT:

Gueye and Jalen Johnson are QUESTIONABLE, Trae is PROBABLE, Bufkin, Nance, Zeller and Risacher are OUT for the Hawks.

Horford is OUT for the Celtics. Porziņģis indicated he could play but it's not up to him. No word yet on whether Scheierman was recalled by Maine. They have a 1PM game vs. the Hawks affiliate, College Park Skyhawks, in Portland Expo Bldg.

Interesting that Joe played Luke in the 1st half but went with Queta in the 2nd half.

Guess adjustments are just discussed when Cs lose.

The Celtics have won only one of their last four meetings with the Hawks. Trae Young has played in only one of those games. Guess which one it was.

I would really like to see Anton Watson get some PT.

He seems very in control of his abilities, he's smart, and makes good decisions. He also looks pretty comfortable shooting threes and has a little size too.

"Hunting quality shots" and better player and ball movement will lead to making more shots I heard. Just a Rumor. But what do I know.

Maybe I'm tripping but it seems like the Hawks often give us trouble with how active their bigs are around the rim. So it kinda sucks that we'll be short on bigs. Should still be a BIG CELTICS WIN though. Cuz we rule.
Gonna miss KP but he's no Georges Niang.

Staps, Horf, and Tats are all listed as QUESTIONABLE for the game. Weird that Horford isn't outright listed as OUT.

Baylor is really producing, creating, rebounding: he literally can do it all - if it can just translate - he's a lot more talented than Hauser and if it can translate, you can move Hauser next season...

Talented? maybe potentially more versatile with some passing and dribbling abilities. But as of now shooting and defense is a definite edge to Sam Hauser. But I also believe in saying Never say Never! So, we will see.

Part of me would be very surprised to see both Al and KP out.

In most cases I like Queta > Kornet..but in this case like Kornet more as a starter..he moves thr ball and our starters need to get the flow early.. plus Queta can come in with his energy..

I think even if Luke is starting, Queta will end up getting more minutes than Luke.

I'd be curious to learn why Luke, who was a 3pt shooter when he came to the NBA, now passes up wide open 3s like it would be ridiculous to take one. I can't really see Joe telling a player who can shoot to not shoot, so what's up with that?

Joe is the real "Man of Mystery", not Austin Powers.
