I’m kind of tired of seeing every player point to the coach to review every call that goes against them

DC with a nice start

CHA 7-12 from 3pt, that can’t be sustainable, up by 13

If Camara can get his 3pt% up to 38% or so, he would be among the best 3&D players in the NBA, currently at 33.7%, coincidentally the same percentage he had last year. I thought he was shooting better than that.

POR gets 4! offensive rebounds on one possession, ends up with a 3 from Grant

For a guy with his size and athletic abilities, Sharpe gets beat way too often on defense

Avdija with some careless TO, has 3 for the game

DC 4th block

2-8-4-4 stat line so far

Sharpe needs to focus on shooting in the mid range more often

Grant denied at the rim twice

Colorado alum (Walker) on Colorado alum (KJ Simpson) crime

Avdija’s 11th FT attempt of the night

POR only shooting 60% FT

DC just affects so many shot attempts.

Simons\Grant 33 of 86pts, meaningless points, in a meaningless game, in a meaningless season, this is a franchise that is going nowhere

Multiple teams are outright positioning themselves for the 25’ draft, but nope, not POR, not the team that needs a franchise player more than anyone else, they got Simons…..

Can’t say I’m surprised, though, you see CHA knows how to do this, Ball not playing tonight, a bunch of deep bench players/G league players on the court, POR playing all their starters, heavy minutes, with heavy usage, that is how you ensure mediocrity, bravo Cronin

Cronin does know that this team cannot make the playoffs, right?

Scoot 21min tonight, Simons 33 and counting. If I was Scoot I couldn’t wait to get off this team

Camara literally mugged Simpson there, he gets away with a lot for how young he is

Hey, maybe we can pass CHI?

This is what hell is like for a franchise, not good enough to make the playoffs or do anything in it even if you did, and not bad enough to get a player who could elevate your team to that level

Sigh...another Battle won on the backs of Simons/Grant, another War lost on the backs of Simons/Grant.

The positives?

Deni, despite the TOs is most certainly a player to keep around as long as possible.
Clingan showing his defensive presence again. When he gets more comfortable with Scoot as a roller, it should be good things...he should be going to the FT line 4-5 times a night once he hits starter minutes.

Wouldn't be shocked if we are on the fringe of being a play in team just in time to win enough games to be too good to have a pick and lose too much to do anything late

The chances of that occurring though are really low, it would be funny though if that happened and CHI got POR pick, funny but really sad

For that to happen, POR would have to beat out SAS, GS & PHX just to secure the #10 seed and then have to beat SAC (#9) and then beat the loser of DAL\MIN

That is not going to happen.

Furthermore, this team doesn’t have any players who are going to be problems in the playoffs, if Simons ever got there, he would be exposed badly when teams actually scheme for him, the guy is not a big game or clutch player no matter how many times Cronin says so, he is Dlo lite at best, all show & no substance

Yeah but what's the long term gain in this? Ant and Grant don't factor into long term plans at all

Just to be clear in dont think we make the play in, I think we will be like 11th or 12th best and just miss out while having too good of a record to have a shot at flagg short of a lucky bounce
