Charlotte's finished diluting talent for draft capital for the most part.

More likely deals from here will look to upgrade talent using draft capital attached to matching salary.

Hornets have (16) 2nd round picks including 5 high quality picks. Hornets have +2 outside 1st round picks, can trade the draft rights to the player selected with their lottery pick draft night, then 4 of their own 1st round picks become tradeable at next year's deadline.

LaMelo is out with an ankle sprain. Miller is out with wrist surgery. Mann is out with a back issue. Grant Williams is down with an ACL tear.

Hornets can tank freely without downgrades.

I don't understand how any Cavs fan could've watched the last week and concluded they're in a position to trade for an offense-only player like Miles, especially at the cost of both Okoro and LeVert. I'm all about moving Niang for a defensive upgrade, but this just ensures that Wade would be our only credible backup big.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Bridges and Martin aren't even the 6'7" or taller wing that most people think the Cavs need. This trade actually makes the Cavs smaller.

Bates has no value around the league and should not be included as value in trades.
