Booker to Charlotte
Say Charlotte gets the #2 pick in the draft.
Charlotte trades: Bridges/Mark/NSK/#2 pick/Miami 1st/Dallas 1st
PHX trades: Booker
Charlotte goes big star hunting looking to make a playoff push next season with a core of LaMelo/Booker/Miller.
PHX gets the #2 pick which will most like be Dylan Harper the 6'6 PG who they can start their rebuild around. They also get a young promising center in Mark Williams and the Miami and Dallas picks which might be valuable down the line.
Who says no?

I’d take it if I were Ishbia.
The real Ishbia is clearly an idiot when it comes to basketball, though, so who knows.

Yeah it's kind of hard to do a rebuild around a 27yr old Booker. Might as well tear the thing down if they trade KD. Not like Booker/Beal taking them anywhere.
Harper gives them a young guy to build their team around for the future.

My man we just want to be in the playoffs.
Please don't say we should keep rebuilding when we have been doing that forever!
I want playoffs!

I agree, but the fans aren't all going to be on board for another season of sucking.
What could definitely change their minds is if someone like Ace Bailey is a legitimate 6' 9", two-way wing with superstar potential. I would tell Charlotte that Ace Bailey and Brandon Miller resembles a lot of what Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum did in terms of tier of prospects.
Moving LaMelo for a slew of future picks allows Charlotte to truly build around Bailey/Miller with less limitations.

I'd be absolutely terrified about Mark, but I guess if somehow he passed our physical when he couldn't pass the Lakers one, its reasonable. Scouts would have to LOVE Harper, obviously.
I'd want to dump Royce Oneil in the deal and would take back Grant Williams as well.

Re: Booker to Charlotte
Charlotte's only path to relevance is landing a #1 pick generational player. They literally can't do it otherwise.
If they don't get Flagg, then they'll just tank again next year.

No thank you. I don't want to have to watch Hornets games with Lonzo Ball the starting PG.
Hornets are building down around LaMelo, not tearing down or downgrading.

Which Miami and Dallas picks are those? How far out are they?
The problem for the Hornets in this scenario is that there is a Houston sized problem standing in your way. The Suns don't control their own picks, so my guess is if Booker is on the market and the Suns are entertaining offers for him, they will prioritise the teams that can give them control of their picks back.
I think Houston could beat that Hornets offer with ease. If y'all want Book, you're basically going to have to hope for two things, 1) the Suns have finally conceded that a rebuild is the best option for them, and 2) the Rockets have jumped the gun early and used the Suns picks to secure KD.
I don't think they are read to blow it up yet. I think they'll trade KD and at least attempt to run it back next season with Book and Beal and whatever they can put together with the assets they get back for KD and then see where they are at the next deadline.

There are quite a few FA Point Guards to go after. There are also veteran, stop-gap Point Guards to go after.

Might as well trade Coach Lee for Coach Bud in the deal too since I doubt Bud signed up for a rebuild whereas, Lee is probably fine with anything and they are both from the same system.

Maybe you can get a PG as part of the deal?.. I already posted something similar and I know that HORNETS Fans didn't like it..but for example.. Quickley+FRP25(let's say Edjecombe)+Agbaji .. Now the Hornets are built on 2 wings with star potential and several two-way players..
ideally invest some assets into a center who can space the floor, after that someone like J.Smith..?or hang some SRP on Nurkic and trade him for Vuc..??as a temporary thing

27 Dallas is barely protected, Miami lottery protected.
I think Suns owe 30 back to Charlotte to make the deal happen. Fland may drop or Broome/Wolf might still be there. I like Wolf as a passing big with scorers around him.

The Miami pick becomes unprotected in 2028 if it doesn't convey in 2027. Dallas pick is top 2 protected in 2027 (looking pretty valuable right now). We also have a Memphis 1st this draft and then all of our own.

I feel like Miami will never truly suck. Players like the city and Riley is clever. Spo is the best coach in the league as well, so I'm not sure that 27/28 pick will be that great. However the Dallas pick is something as AD and Kyrie will be on the downtrend by then.
Those 2 picks plus the OPs suggestion on the #2 this year is pretty good deal. Even better if Mark actually is allowed to play basketball again lol.
