Kevin Garnett could join the front office of the Minnesota Timberwolves if Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez become the controlling owners of the franchise.
Garnett had anticipated a role with the Wolves upon his retirement as a player, but the passing of Flip Saunders changed how Glen Taylor handled the situation. Garnett presumably will return to a more active role with the Wolves with Taylor moved out of his role as governor.
Garnett was traded back to the Wolves in 2015 and retired at the end of the 15-16 season.
