The Sixers and Embiid are consulting with doctors and looking at alternatives for his knee.
Embiid's surgery last February did not remove all of his meniscus cartilage.
The Sixers' goal has been to reduce Embiid's symptoms as there is no indication that more surgery would "fix" his knee.
