I wonder if Sharpe's agent reminded him that he's actually playing for a contract, lol...

If this is the case it should scare us all in terms of drop-off once he gets the dough

So far I've counted 4 more assists that Scoot should have, if his teammates could hit wide open C&S shots.

I know better than to fall into this Sharpe trap...you'll have to give me 30+ games of this type of production before I believe he's turned some kind of corner.

Is it just me wishful thinking or did Clingan seem slightly less winded toward the end of his minutes?

I'll say it again, I have no problem with Banton as a 6th man scorer off the bench on a not good team. He'll have some 0fers, but he'll also have nights like this. He tries on defense and has length, so that's worth something too...

Agree with everything up to the Banton part. I cringe whenever he gets on the floor. He is a black hole and he gives you spurts of effort on defense but is out of position to often. And he is a black hole once the ball touches his hands. I want him gone almost as much as GAS(Grant, Ayton, and Simons).

Controversial opinion but I think people would take Banton more seriously if he didn't have that ridiculous hairstyle. He reminds me of shih tzu for some reason and i think he looks like an idiot. I think it adds to the cringe big time.

^ I dislike banton because he's a volume shooter who doesn't do a whole lot else other than contribute to our logjam at guard. If we traded ant i could probably deal with him but I feel like streaky shooters are easy enough to add

He probably is the best defender but that is an extremely low bar. We have no plus defender at the guard position.

Dalano ranks 24% range in defense
Scoot is in the 32% range
Sharpe is in the 25% range
Simons is in the 27% range

Defense = Mixed Team defense
STL + BLK + DREB: + Team defensive efficiency: 115.3

Is higher good? I didn't even look it up--just eyeballs. Although, Scoot has been A LOT better since about January.

Higher is better, it means Banton is better than 24% of NBA players when it comes to that particular metric

I'm okay with Banton as a #9 or #10 guy, which he is. He's only been getting playing time when there are injuries or the team is sucking offensively. He wasn't getting much time in meaningful games.
