Wizards Gave 'Real Consideration' To Trading For Bradley Beal At Deadline

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Mar 3, 2025 2:47 am

The Washington Wizards gave "real consideration" to trading for Bradley Beal at this year's deadline, sources told Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Stein adds that there is no indication that Beal would have waived his no-trade clause to return to Washington.

It was reported last month that the Wizards and Hawks were the only two teams willing to acquire Beal.

Beal is also reportedly hesitant to uproot his family by getting traded.

Beal has two more seasons left on his deal at just under $111 million.

It’s crazy how his wife has been complaining about being heckled badly by Suns fans at games and grocery stores and even threats and all that and yet he still wants to remain in Phoenix. Shows how much he cares about his family’s well being really lol.

And I don’t think it’s gonna get any better either. People in Phoenix despise the guy (even though the hatred should be directed towards the Suns dumb**** owner for trading for him).
