Jose Quintana and the New York Mets have agreed to a one-year contract.
Quintana struggled during the first half of last season as his ERA was at 5.29 by the beginning of June. But over his final 18 starts, a span beginning June 15, Quintana produced an impressive 2.77 ERA.
