The NBA is considering bringing back "NBA Inside Stuff," which was a long-running NBA highlight show that aired most notably from 1990 until 2006 on NBC and ABC. The show was briefly brought back from 2013 until 2016 on NBA TV.
The NBA has filed two trademarked applications for the name. NBC is considering bringing back a "refreshed version" of the show, a source tells CNBC.
In July, the NBA signed a 11-year, $76 billion media rights deal with The Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal and Amazon that begins next season.
