Game 76: Utah Jazz (16-59) @ Charlotte Hornets (18-56)

Post#1 » by Inigo Montoya » Mon Mar 31, 2025 8:10 am

I was hoping the Hornets would be able to beat the Nets the other day but it was not meant to be. If the Jazz win this one they'll probably end up with the second-worst record unless the Wizards will surprise. Also, LaMelo Ball will not be playing as he is out for the rest of the season. It is wild to me that ESPN's injury list of all 30 teams has been missing the Hornets in their list for the entire season and have yet to fix it.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Probably because nobody cares about them, as 95% of the league does not.

If it wasn't for games like this one, we would see teams going like 80-2 the whole season. Eventually one team will win it. This is going to be a fun game for all the wrong reasons.

Tanking has reached new levels that we never think would be possible.

I must congratulate the Jazz for pulling off the L and basically assuring at least the second worst record. Excellent job.
