Yeah I was quite surprised to see he's in the portal. Although I guess it makes sense if you're projected to be a R2 pick while you can get more NIL money.

I'm guessing he will get a first round promise and won't end up playing for them, but if he doesn't, this is a great landing spot.

yeah, the number i've seen floated around is $3.5M. but as far as i know it's not a done deal.
