LAL in: Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, Max Christie
DAL in: Austin Reaves, Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent
DAL adds a high level creator to fill the Kyrie void while also clearing some forward minutes for the incoming #1 pick.
LAL balances their roster by adding size, shooting and defensive versatility on the wing.

Re: LAL/DAL II
Lakers will have 0 guard depth after this, and I don't want Vando's deal on Mavs payroll, prefer to keep it a clean sheet.
I think Christie can't go back to LAL also until February, I do think PJ is a great fit next to Luka.

Re: LAL/DAL II
Dallas will try to compete, will need to trade Gafford and get a playmaker. Reaves is a good name, but I dont think Lakers trade Reaves for Gafford, will probably try to find a cheap center and keep Reaves for a post Lebron future.

Re: LAL/DAL II
I just can't see these teams dealing. But its also bigger than it needs to be. OP seems to be wanting to fill every hole for LA in one deal.

Re: LAL/DAL II
Who do you actually think Austin Reaves actually is? This is nasty overpay by the Mavericks. I view all 3 of those players by themselves as having more value than Austin, let alone put together. If Austin performed well in the playoffs, maybe there more of a conversation to be had(still would've a overpay, but much closer), but the fact is he didn't and allowed a aging Michael Conley to lock him down makes his trade value nil. On that of that he's also asking for big payday. Overall, this is just really bad for the Mavericks.

No it isn't, it's actually very close in value.

Re: LAL/DAL II
Can we keep as simple as Gafford/'29 LAL 1st for Reaves?
LAL gets their starting C and ammo to go get a complementary piece. DAL gets their offense going till Ky gets back.

I’m surprised this wasn’t part of the Luka-AD deal to be honest.
