Honestly I think Boston can do it, BUT, I fear the Refs and Brunson's flops more than the actual Knick players. Regardless of what happens, I am so in Love with the Fight they put up. If they fight anywhere near as good again, Win or lose I will be so Proud!!

I've watched enough basketball to know this is where it likely ends. However, we are playing the Knicks so if there was ever a time for an exception it's against them.

40-50 3s should be expected.

Cs will not change who they are.

If the Cs shoot 38% from 3pt land, I think Cs win.

plus the toughness and never say die on top of the talent and precision. sheesh. things got real in a hurry. life comes at you fast.

all that said, every game is different. should be fun.

I said it before in the last thread - we are the champs and will not go quietly. Late in playoff series is when the screws start to tighten and this stuff really matters.

Won't be easy but we can absolutely win this. C's in 7

The first playoff game I ever attended was at MSG between NYK and Boston in 1984. Bernard King had two fingers taped up and still dropped 44? points against Kevin McHale. Bird had a 36 14 and 10 game IIRC. Amazingly still one of the best games I have ever seen up close.

This is their adjustment game to JB led Celtics. I think we will find it harder to find buckets but as long as we play defense like we did in the second half yesterday we should be in a close game and have a chance to steal it. And even if we lose, I'm glad we got yesterday's win at home

I've restrained myself lol but it must be a **** show on your board right now

Not to downplay the situation, but in the unlikely event that the Celtics can win three straight while facing elimination in a playoff series for the sceond time in three years, there's got to be some satisfaction for the Knicks at what they accomplished already.

it's honestly better than i expected. i think most are not getting too high or low just yet.

i have plenty of appreciation for so far. but the expectations got elevated after that first trip to boston, so i think it'd be a long way down for a lot of us.

plus the conversations about thibs and mazzulla are exact mirrors, which i find amazing and hilarious.

Funny part is the arc of the coaches - Doc Rivers was adored when he was here, then he left and lost all his (as the kids say) aura. Then for awhile when Thibs was doing well in Chicago the storyline became Doc Rivers' success here was buoyed by Thibs as the asst. coach. and he was the real brain trust not Doc. Then Thibs became the guy to come under fire after all of that.

Return to Boston Celtics
