Utah wants to win(?!?) with BOS, DAL, CHI
Since Utah wants to win and doubled down on Ainges, and some Dallas fans think Jrue is too old/expensive:
UTA in: Jrue, KP
UTA out: Collins, Sexton, Hendricks, 53
BOS in: BOS: Collins, J Smith, N Marshall
BOS out: Jrue, KP
DAL in: Sexton
DAL out: Marshall, Hardy
CHI in: Hendricks, Hardy
CHI out: Smith
Team X: Powell, 53 (from UTA).
Team X could be CHI and they just waive Powell.
Utah gets win now guys that their Ainges approve of.
Dallas gets a younger scorer. Has bigs to cleanup for him on the other end. Moves a guy Flagg will replace anyways.
CHI: Gets too young guys to try out.
BOS: Gets some good players while saving $18.5M. They're a Hauser for 2nds deal from ducking the 2nd apron with room to resign Horford and Kornet. Possibly to more than the min for at least one of them.
Does anyone owe CHI more???? BOS could also send 28 to UTA but, I'm not sure it's required.
28 seems too much to send to CHI. Though maybe they send 45 & a future 2nd back to BOS?
EDIT: Remove 21 based on feedback. Was going to BOS from UTA, but that was excessive.

Significant overpay by the Jazz..
Collins > KP
Sexton > Jrue
And you have them sending picks and Hendricks
Collins > KP
Sexton > Jrue

Defense wins draft lotteries!

Not sure I agree with the valuations (esp the Sexton one), but you're probably right that 21 AND Hendricks is too much. Can drop the pick.

Re: Utah wants to win(?!?) with BOS, DAL, CHI
I can't imagine Utah gives up picks and expiring money for Jrue/KP. If they do want to win, they may well be good guys to trade for but that's because they could be had for free basically. They have enough pick capital to get better/younger players if they want to win.
Also, for Boston, this gets them below the 2nd apron but would be tough to duck the luxury tax. The combo of Jrue/KP/Hauser would have to be moved for about $30M total and Collins takes up like all of that himself. Marshall/Smith would have to be moved to other teams. Now, if they decide they AREN'T going to get all the way below the tax, just the 2nd apron, then they probably wouldn't be interested in trading Porzingis and Jrue both in a deal like this that undervalues their on court abilities. If they aren't dipping all the way below the tax, they probably just keep Jrue. I'd say they move Porzingis and Hauser in deals to duck the 2nd apron and Jrue only goes if the payoff is ducking the tax totally.

Utah is not competing adding the 4th and 5th best players from Boston

Sexton is higher trade value, not a better player.

I don't know how desirable it is to get all the way under tax given the on court losses, tbh. I've been leaning towards what you just laid out - keep Jrue and duck the 2nd apron with KP and Hauser. But, figured I'd throw this one out there.
I'll edit the OP to remove 21. I had a couple variations without Hendricks so it doesn't make as much sense once I added him.

Boston won 61 games and was considered a title favorite all year. 4th and 5th for them is a lot different than 4th and 5th for a team trying to make the play in like Utah presumably is if they're trying to win (any higher is unrealistic). Those 2 along with Markannen, IMO, form a reasonable top 3 for a team trying for the play. Problem is the West is already SO TOUGH and Jrue's age/KP's injury history make them unreliable.

Gotcha. Even still, we might be in agree to disagree range. Sexton expiring is nice, but also means you gotta resign him if you like him. Jrue multi-year is nice, but means you gotta pay him when he's 37. I lean Jrue due to on court to resolve the difference, but can see where people would prefer Sexton for financials / scoring.

Jrue looked completely gassed by the end. I'm just not sure how much left he has to give. I can't see the Jazz sending assets to acquire him, but perhaps the reverse.

The Bulls are better off with Smith who can play the 4 or 5 and is better than Hendricks (not listed in the out on UT), and Hardy is a 4th string guard

Utah might be talking a good game now but I’m skeptical. Ainge is not a big tanker but he is a strategic tanker and this would seem to be an elite tank year based on the draft and the situation league wide.
If Utah really wanted to push for a winning record this season they’d take that sort of trade return and move some of the youngsters instead of vets but that whole scenario just seems unlikely to me.

Re: Utah wants to win(?!?) with BOS, DAL, CHI
Jazz have just spent 2+ years tearing down their roster. I think this "we're not tanking" talk just means "we're going to be bad."
The Jazz are watching Dybantsa at BYU. They recently hired Carlos Boozer to their scouting staff. Their pick is top-8 protected. It sure looks to me like the Jazz are positioned to go after the top of the next draft. They might trade Lauri in the process, rather than hold him out of games though.

I still like my simple deal
KP to Chi
Vuc to Bos
Ayo to BRK
Saves Boston A TON of $ and Vuc will play 80 games
Bulls go for the high upside of KP, and have Collins/JSmith behind when he sits
Brk gets a free guard who can start with Cam Thomas

The whole team was, tbh. Deep playoff run last year and the Olympics paid a price. Jrue had some nagging things like a hammy in the playoffs. I expect after an early exit / empty summer he comes back fresher. Different team, different role on offense and you'll see more out of him, etc.

Our team would still be terrible after this, just older and more fragile. Certainly not adding Hendricks.

I think this is great. Brooklyn owes something, I'm sure they'd send pick 36 to complete this.

Not interested in Jrue’s contract unless value is being sent. Capspace is at a premium now.

Jrue makes sense to me as a mentor to Collier and a good fit with Sexton.
But the team is missing a “best player” still to actually do more than a play-in spot. I guess it could be a two time line pitch where you pretend the young guys will develop better in a winning culture. But they’re still missing that top end prospect imo.
If Utah wanted to add this duo, I Think it’s just Collins, Clarkson, Martin.
Split up to take advantage of 7.5. And maybe Utah adds their seconds to assist Boston in dumping Clarkson on whoever. Boston dumps 28 mil. Can dump KMJ later if they need to.
